Donna Kirby-Reynolds, a Personal Safety Specialist, is certified as a Women's Personal Protection Instructor. A 17-year Law Enforcement Veteran, Donna was a Police Lieutenant, and worked for the Federal Government, Department of Defense. There she performed special assignments such as undercover narcotics, and was the only female on the special forces S.W.A.T. Team. She was assigned to the Naval Submarine Base in Groton CT, and retired from government service.

Today, Donna is a "Personal Safety Specialist", with clients such as Bayer, Inc., Pfizer, Inc., Bristol Myers-Squibb, and American Express in New York City, traveling extensively throughout the United States instructing classes and seminars.

Donna received the 2004 Athena award, which recognizes outstanding professional and business women in the community.   She has served as president of an investment club, and as president of the Southeastern CT Women's Network, The Ledyard Sportsmen's Club, and is presently on several boards. In 2000 Donna was honored with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition for her achievements as a successful woman entrepreneur in the State of Rhode Island - Earning her the National Business Week, "Women Mean Business" award. In 1996 she was named "Chapter Woman of the Year" in the American Business Women's Association. Donna is the author of "Refuse To Be A Victim", and she has also received the "Federal Woman of the Year" award. Donna is also a qualified locksmith and an honored member of Strathmore's Who's Who Registry.

Some of Donna's hobbies are skeet shooting, and combat international pistol shooting, competing in both local and national events. Donna competed in the International Law Enforcement Games in 2000, held at Cocoa Beach FL. She competed in nine events; Skeet, Skeet Doubles, Skeet with a riot shotgun, Trap, Trap Doubles, Trap with a riot shotgun, Flurry, Sporting Clays, and 5 Stand. She won gold medals in both Skeet Doubles and in Skeet with a riot shotgun. She won silver medals in both Skeet 12 gauge and Skeet HOA, and she won Bronze medals in Sporting Clays, 5-Stand, and Trap at 16 yards.

She brings to her presentations approximately 30 years of Police, Security, Self-defense, and Street-smarts experience. Attendees leave with enhanced, justifiable self-confidence. Donna has appeared on the Montel Williams Show, CNN, News Talk Television, and CT and RI cable shows. Donna has a "Personal Safety" video for training and prevention.
